Thanks a lot fuctifano. - is that Steve Mason track from that ghosts outside album? - Can, now that makes sense. Good stuff - William Onyeabor: makes sense now that it felt familiar, as I;ve heard a few pals playing stuff from his album. I like that one about an atomic bomb - I'm going to look up that Moroccan dude that I thought was German - I was surprised to read that Asazi Funk Explosion are from Edinburgh. The Scots, eh - they never cease to amaze me... - I do like cassettes, yes! thanks again - a really enjoyable mix. Hello The steve Mason one sounds like it should be on the dub outside album but its from his last one monkey minds..... Can - yeah good stuff indeed. Onyeabor - he;s da bomb! thanks to whisky Stephen for the morrocan fella! Asazi - Edinburgh/capetown according to t'net. some commute. Cassettes -http://music.gerrylovesrecords.com/album/house-music ok its sold out and there's a now unfortunate ref to rolf harris but this is a great wee album. think you'd like it if you can track it down.

Apologies for the delay - the keyboard on my laptop is knackered and a 24 track round-up, using the onscreen keyboard, will take forever. I'll write it up on Mrs Mutley's work tablet thing, over the next couple of day's.

A somewhat delayed reply... My mix CD from pantsanvest was very much Scottish themed, I think almost every artist on it was Scottish. I'll edit this later and a pic of the artwork which was referendum inspired. It was a really good, thoroughly enjoyed it. Kicking off with an 8 minute upbeat celtic/ceilidh/fiddly tune. I spotted a bit of Jesus and Mary Chain in there, a couple of tracks had a 90s indie sound and feel to them. Gah! Don't have the time to fully review this just now. Will edit bits into this later. Top marks for a great mix.

Since it's still the festive season, if anyone wants a Brucie bonus, you are out of luck there are no Brucies here. You can however have a bonus, here's a copy of the mix CD I made and sent to fuctifano, Contains printable cover and the PDF of the tracklisting, notes, pictures and scribbles (the pages are a bit out of sequence). www.dropbox.com/s/8ugjzffbwld96x4/LostMapMixCD.zip?dl=0Merry New Year when it comes and all that
