Pretty hyped for this one! All-day cosmic party in the capacious and refined environs of the Thomas Morton Hall in Leith Theatre, Edinburgh. It was smashing to go to Penicuik for Howlin' Fringe last year, but the bottom of Ferry Road is much, much nearer my house. And I went to see The Spook School at this Art Late thing in the same hall recently, and it was preeeeetty deeee-luxe. Super-fancy. High end. An aspirational lifestyle choice. Superb, eclectic line-up, and yer boy Pictish Trail finishing up with a full-band Future Echoes set. I say finishing up, I think recent Mercury Prize nominees The Comet Is Coming will be on last. Which should be a total blast. Off. (Shit space pun.) Advance tickets available now, think they'll be a bit more on the door (the doors - did I mention the venue doors? Also SUPER FANCY): lostmap.com/tickets/howlin-fringe-presents-future-echoes-pictish-trail-album-launch-all-day-party* * * COSMIC PONCHOS OPTIONAL * * * (No-one will be turned away if they are not wearing a cosmic poncho. Or if they are wearing one. I think it's probably irrelevant, but seemed worth mentioning.)
